This striking statement necklace is handcrafted from a blend of vintage and repurposed treasures. The base is cut from a cowboy boot top, layered with high end velvet upholstery fabric, and trimmed with an off white lace collar salvaged from the 1980s. A chain of rhinestones outline the design of the boot and an antique brooch centerpiece adds dazzling detail. It needed a little color so I “borrowed” the faux turquoise elements from a cool pair of 90’s sandals. All together now, in a brand new unique design, this BOLD RARE and UNREPEATABLE statement necklace.
